Anne-Marie Wheatley-HubbardM.Ost, MA (Cantab)

Associate Osteopath

Chronic pain, Musculoskeletal conditions, Sports and Women's Health

Ammie graduated from Health Sciences University with a Master of Osteopathy (M.Ost) with Distinction. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including long-standing pain, sports injuries and women's health conditions. Ammie believes in taking the time to listen to her patients and working with them to find the most appropriate treatment for their individual needs.

Ammie is trained in mat pilates and enjoys using movement and rehabilitation alongside hands-on osteopathic treatment to help patients recover and stay well. She has a particular interest in postnatal rehabilitation, and her dissertation explored the rehabilitation of diastasis recti, reflecting her interest in supporting women during their recovery after childbirth.

Before retraining as an osteopath, Ammie spent over a decade working in finance after studying Economics at the University of Cambridge. Although a very different profession, it developed the analytical thinking, communication skills and attention to detail that continue to shape her approach to patient care.

Above all, Ammie enjoys getting to know the people she treats and helping them understand their bodies, recover from pain and return to doing the things they enjoy, whatever their age, lifestyle or stage of life. Outside the clinic, she can usually be found spending time with her young family or keeping fit by running the local footpaths or on the tennis court.
