PILATES WITH RACHEL

Move Better • Feel Stronger • Improve Your Wellbeing

Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise designed to improve strength, mobility, flexibility, posture, balance and body awareness. It focuses on controlled, purposeful movement and can be adapted to suit almost any level of experience or fitness.

Whether you are an absolute beginner or have been practising Pilates for years, exercises can be modified or progressed so that you work at a level that is right for you.

What are the benefits of Pilates?

Regular Pilates can help to:

  • Build core and whole-body strength

  • Improve posture and alignment

  • Increase flexibility and mobility

  • Improve balance and coordination

  • Support bone health through appropriate weight-bearing exercise

  • Improve body awareness and movement control

  • Maintain strength and mobility as we get older

  • Complement other activities, including walking, running, cycling and other sports

  • Support general health and wellbeing
