Roberto SalvatiM.Ost in Osteopathy Dip Naturopathy

Roberto is a registered Osteopath, having graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2019 with a Masters in Osteopathy, Diploma in Osteopathy and a Diploma in Naturopathy. During these four years of study, Roberto gained invaluable knowledge about the anatomy, physiology and biomechanics of the human body, which he is able to incorporate into every patient he sees. During his final year of studies, Roberto provided a sports massage service for the England Beach Soccer team and for an independent gym in his hometown of Essex.

In addition to his studies, Roberto has extra qualifications in dry needling (acupuncture) and in kinesiology taping which supplement his osteopathic treatments. Roberto sees every patient as an individual and believes there is no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to conditions or patients. He believes that education is the key so that patients can understand what has happened to cause pain, why it has happened, what you can do to make it better and how you can try to avoid this occurring again. As well as the hands on work, Roberto aims to promote health by giving lifestyle advice and stretches to complement his treatment.

Roberto is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. Roberto’s family name comes from Southern Italy where he has spent a lot of time with his Italian family every summer. This means that he is also fluent in Italian having learnt it from his father.

In his spare time, Roberto enjoys staying fit and active by going to the gym, running and playing football. Other sports of particular interest include: beach soccer, basketball, snooker, darts, table tennis, squash…pretty much all sports! Due to this passion, Roberto enjoys incorporating this knowledge of sports in his treatment room to allow the safe participation in sport and to ensure patients get the most out of their exercise.
