Claire is an integrative therapist, trained to Masters level in Relationship and Family Therapy (validated by the University of Hull and accredited by the BACP).   She works with individuals, couples and young adults of all backgrounds and sexual orientation.  Her aim is to combine a depth of understanding and reflection within an empathetic, safe environment to facilitate the potential for change.

Claire is a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the AFT (Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice).  She also works as a Relate registered counselor and has both training and experience in areas such as self-harm, mental health, adult attachment, grief and loss.

As an integrative therapist her work draws on different elements from a range of therapeutic orientations, in the belief that no single approach can treat each client in all situations.  By working this way she endeavours to meet the individual needs and personal circumstances of each client.  Her work has a relational bias, as she believes the health of our relationships underpins everything else we do in life.
